Refuses to display the Login screen or desktop (if already running) when undocked.Īs for the person that suggested going into the NIOS and enabling "warm undock", the e6440 doesn't spear to have that option in the BIOS. Laptop display is just fine, even if we extend, mirror or turn off the external monitor. The laptop works just fine when in the dock. This is with the laptop out of the dock at power on.

We then see the "Starting Windows" screen and when Windows 7 get to the part where the display "switches" to the Windows Login screen, the laptop display goes blank.
We then shutdown the laptop, undock and restart. The external display goes off (as it should). We've set the laptop to only use the internal screen. We've verified that the laptop screen is set as primary display in Windows. We've been back and forth with emails requesting that I have the end user try this, try that and report back.
